I just started ballroom dancing lessons. My crush is in the class, and he's the only one taller than me so I have an excuse to ask. But he's really popular and I don't know what he thinks of me. What if he thinks I'm a creep and says no?

whoa this is the BIG opportunity for you! i think you should talk to him first, he could be this really nice guy after all! weave into the topic of partners and ask. if he says he already has a partner, than it's OK! don't act all down and everything. he's bound to notice, and that's not good. be natural. even if he turns u down, he might think about asking you or talking to u next time, now he knows u. think about it this way, this chance only comes by once! go for it!

Ask him, of course! The excuse is pretty good. Go up to him, talk and bring up the class. Ask if he likes it, etcetc and than ask if he has a partner or "who is your partner?" (so you won't be embarrassed if someone asked him before you) and if he says he doesn't have one, than go for it! I'm sure he'll say yes! ;)

Take it if you enjoy it and want to learn how to ballroom dance. Don't take it just to see him, that's low (in my opinion) unless you seriously want to dance also.

Try talking to him about the class and why he joined, see what his attitude is.
