Download ewido.

http://www.ewido.net/en/

Set up ewido:

When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

Start Ewido. When you run it the first time, you get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK.

On the main screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start Update button.

After the Update finishes, the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful".

-- If you have problems updating see here:

http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/

Once the updates are installed do the following:

Click on Scanner

Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:

- Binder
- Crypter
- Archives

Click on Start Scan and let Ewido scan the PC

While the scan is in progress, you will be prompted to 'Clean files', Click OK.

AFTER SETUP AND BEFORE RUNNING EWIDO GO INTO SAFE MODE.

Turn off your computer. When you press the power button start tapping the F8 key repeatedly. In this screen select SAFE MODE . Although the screen looks strange this is normal. Run the ewido. To exit safe mode, reboot your computer normally.

Re-Boot and before the BIOS hands it off to the O/S...Press F8. That will put you in "safe" mode and will prevent start-up programs from running. Then run your Virus scan and it should catch it so you can remove it. If you have Norton..It may not work but it should. Norton is the absolute worst thing you could ever put on a computer. If you have ANY Norton product...ditch it and get something else. Nothing at all is better than Norton. Take it from someone who knows
