Global warming is a natural cycle of the planet. The planet heats up and the planet cools off. Humans have been accused of causing it and it is simply not true. It is caused by greenhouse gasses found around the world in nature and man made sources. These gasses, CO2, CH4, and N2O absorb infrared radiation (IR) and release longer-wavelength IR or heat into the lower troposphere thereby heating the air and the Earth. While humans may add a small amount to the greenhouse gasses, volcanoes are a primary source of greenhouse gasses as is most natural sources.

The effects of global warming range from a rise in ocean levels to changes in crop growing regions and animal migration patterns. There could be dessert where there is now vegetation and the northern U.S. could become tropical. These are all theories based on fossil records.

I should mention that just 30 years ago, the same scientists that fear global warming now, said we were headed into an ice age.

Scientific fact: carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) in the atmosphere reflect or trap heat in our atmosphere. There has always been CO2 and CH4 in the atmosphere, but the amount has changed, as everything does. The amount goes up and down, just like oxygen and other gases.

Scientific fact: The burning of fossil fuels and other human actions give off CO2 and CH4.

Scientific fact: Relative to the period 1860–1900, global temperatures have increased by 0.75 °C. Also, 2005 was the warmest recorded year since reliable instrumentation was widely used (about 200 years ago).

So if we are releasing CO2 and CH4 into the atmosphere, then we are obviously changing something. Most scientists say we are releasing enough to have a measurable change on the amount of heat that is trapped. The debate it over how much we are changing it. Some would say that we are not really doing much to change the temperature, and that it is increasing as it would naturally. Others would say that the increase is unnatural or is increasing faster then it should, because of human influence.

Anyone who says that the global temperature is not increasing is wrong. Anyone who says that humans have not released CO2 and CH4 into the atmosphere is wrong. Anyone who says that CO2 and CH4 doesn't affect global temperature is wrong.

Global warming is a hoax perpetrated by certain wacko liberals who wish to panic us into accepting One World Goverment, which would be run by Communists, with United States and England under their thumbs and living in dire poverty.

NASA measures the temperature of the planet every year, and there has BEEN NO CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!

This rearrangement of temperatures has occured before. In the 1890's there was a fast melt-off of the glaciers. In the early 1900's, the melt off reversed.

At least twice since I graduated from high school in 1960, these nuts have swiveled from dire predictions of the earth burning up, to a new Ice Age. Enough of these nuts and their nut science.

There is a 1700 year temperature cycle, and we are not even at the hot part of that cycle.

This hoax is perpetrated as such hoaxes are usually perpetrated. Solemn announcements are read on the mainstream, lying media, followed by attempts to discredit and destroy anyone who dares to disagree.

Other successful hoaxes were the destruction of the ozone layer by a substance which is many times heavier than air, and cannot possibly float 15 miles in the air.

Global warming is in result to too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere trapping in hot UV rays that normally escape into space...Unfortunatley we(meaning peoples) are lazy asses and use fossil fuels to help us drive our fat asses around this world and also use up an enormas amou7nt of electricty and thus creatibg the harmful carbon gasses and they don't escape, The news lately staetes that this is an irreversable probelm now b/c it's too LATE!!!
