Hi, it's freshers week at university next week and one of the party night's theme is beachwear... what could i wear to the party? i dont particularly want to just wear a bikini cos its quite chilly up in northern england?? Plus i dont want to flash toooo much flesh!

Depends where you are, but where I live - Leeds, there's a really good fancy dress shop on Burley Road, called Best Kept Secret. They do some fantastic costumes and they're really helpful. x

Okay I looked on Target but couldn't find anything but I was thinking a strapless dress with flowers I forgot what the kind I'm thinking of is called but yeah and if you want to cover the shoulders a cardigan sorry I couldn't be more of help.

How about some cheeky hot pants and a sexy li'l shirt tied in a knot you could pop your bikini underneath just in case you get brave later in the night

go as a lifegaurd.
a whale in black and white
a mermaid. dress all in green and make a cardboard tail to staple to the end of your dress/trousers.

Wear a summery top and jeans. Summer dress? Sandals. A straw hat with "kiss me quick" on it. Have a carrier bag with union jack on it, stick of rock, even some candy floss maybe, water wings? :-) bottle of suntan lotion, beach towel in the bag.
