operations inside of brackets are always done first...
then when these operations are complete - multiplication and division are done before addition and subtraction...
4(9+3)=4(12)= 4(10) + 4(2)= 40+8=48
(6 divided by2)=6/2=(6/2)/2=3/1=3
yielding 48+3=51
