I do not care to be called racist or ignorant or arrogant. I am a professional, highly educated and a libertarian. In answering I would ask that you remember that those who profess to cherish freedom the most are often those willing to protect it the least. In so far as I know, the government has not yet passed a law that dictates which people or peoples I have to like or associate with.

I think it's highly unlikely you'll find anywhere that will have an all white population, because there are many people who are black, asian, oriental etc in the UK who have the money to send their child to a prep school. It's not like having a school that is defined by religion and the requirement to attend is by religion (even then, in a Catholic school for example, they'd have a certain amount of pupils who are not catholic). As it is schools (and I believe this is true of private school as well as state run schools) are meant to have an open door policy...and generally wouldn't run the risk of being seen to discriminate.
You're more likely to find state schools that are all white, pure by the area that they are based.

You may think you are professional, highly educated and libertarian but I think that many reading your question would disagree. You are talking about bringing your children up in a creation of your fears. They will not be able to cope in the world. Please do not impose on them what has obviously been imposed on you.
The law, as you correctly state, does not dictate which people or peoples you have to like or associate with so why, are you doing it to your children. Can you not appreciate that your children, as young adults, are going to have to live in the world as it is, not how you perceive it to be.

Um I dont know but we have moved to a more "white" and therefore middle class part of the country to try and find good schooling, there is no such thing as an all white school anymore, the days of the pretty red brick school with the white picket fence are long gone HOWEVER there are a few schools where the ratio of black to white is in our favour, I have the names of a few such as Yorke House Prep and Lady Margaret Holls....why do you feel the need to segregate your children? I have my own opinions but I will not share them on here because unfortunately freedom of speech only works one way these days.....goodluck!

You are racist, ignorant, and arrogant. There may not be laws against your personal racist attitudes, but as far as I know, it's illegal for a school to admit whites only. And what's with the comment about protecting freedom? Freedom includes the right for minorities to attend any school they wish.

Of course, you don't have to like or accept anyone who is not your colour but honestly, I don't really see why a school has to be all white to be a good school or why a professional and highly educated person find it so hard to accept someone who is non-white. I thought the greatest divider of human beings is not the colour of their skin or their language. It is the different values, outlooks and upbringing. A person from a non-white background can be professional, middle-class, highly intelligent, polite, well-spoken, educated and respectable. There are so much evidence supporting my view in our society nowaday. Can't you see that? Still not convinced? Check who came first in last year and this year's A-level exams? You would want these boys to be the classmates of your children!

Sorry, no such thing in England. They are very enlightened over there. As one of my friends found out, everyone attends the schools in England - you will be surrounded by every race and creed in the world if you go to England. And the private ones even more so - you will find the princes and princesses and heads of state and so on in those institutions from every country.

You may not care to be called the things you mention, but you will be called these things if you ask on this site, by someone.
While I may not agree with you, I support your right to go where you please, or send your child where you please. It is nice to have personal choices that affect your own life, without worrying about political correctness all the time. One drawback is you may be denying yourself or your child the potential for growth as a human being. The world has all kinds of people in it you need to learn to relate to.
No, I don't know any school like that. Good luck and have a nice life.

The most expensive schools will have white and Indian and Arab. There are no all white schools in England...Even Eton has a darkie.

Try Northern Europe where the rich are less likely to be brown or yellow. Sweden MUST have posh schools where the population is all white.

Good luck with that though...Modern times, colour is only thought to be an issue with the ignorant wanting to blame someone for their problems.

You may not care to be called it, but those are the facts. If you think an all white prep school is desirable, your position is indefensible.
Highly educated? By whom?
