galveston texas auto ferry? how much is it at the cheapest points? where are the points?

i will be coming from beaumont tx on |-10V\/. i dont want to drive through houston to get here.. its like an extra hour.

It is free... from i-10, take 124 south until you get to 87. Go to the left, it will take you all the way down throught the penninsula. You wind up close to east beach. Ferry probably takes about 15 to 20 min, but it is free.
