My 450lb. neighbor just sat on my brand new IKEA swivel chair and broke it. Should I notify the police?

It was just delivered yesterday. Now I'll have to stand up at my PC to type on Answers until she replaces it.

no police i am sure it was an embarrassment for them tell them that you would like a new chair give a week for them to do so.

if you asked her not to sit on it or when she did you told her to get off, then you really can't sue. also if she said she'll replace it then just let her.
