How do I know if the data on my computer or an internet connection is encrypted?

Look for the yellow lock at the bottom right corner of your screen. If there is no such thing then your connection is not encrypted.

If data on your computer is encrypted, you wont b able to access it. Data on the internet is normally always encrypted.
