It certainly makes for a good story. It's nice to hear a buzz about two local teams and not just the Yankees.

It'd be even more convinient for another Subway Series. I'm excited.

I would say the Marlins have a better shot. And its not convenient to the Mets' Wallet...they had to blow 200 million to finally over take the Braves...New York Baseball teams suck...and are now the 2 main culprits in trying to destroy baseball

No, what's wrong with you, Ok they planned it out, what are are you doing. They are clearly the best team in the NL. As far as the Marlins are concerned I give them respect because as much as the ownership wants to destroy that franchise, they keep winning.

yes i find it ironic, i don't think that it is the fact that they are great 20 years after they won their last world series and the marlins aren't going anywhere they will barely maybe make the playoffs

Convenient?? I hardly think so. I am NO Mets fan, but they are an excellent ball club put together during the off season last winter. You seem to be suggesting there is some kind of conspiracy afoot to have them win. That, my friend, is nonsense as are ALL conspiracy theories.

Chow!!
