Me and my friend fought last year over the same thing we're going to this year. Last year, we fought over this guy we both liked and he liked us too. I ended up getting him and breaking up after two weeks, then she got him and was in an on-and-off relationship. Now, we're going through the same thing. We're both single and a new kid is in our grade. We both like him, he's funny, nice, smart, and hot, but I don't want to fight this year. That's the only way I'll get guys agian because we all do it, we fight because there is only 12 girls in our class, 22 guys, and only 6 of them are hot! Me and my friend fight all the time over this stuff, but I don't want to this time. What should I do??? I want him, but I don't want to fight. (Last year when I won, we didn't talk for a month!)

girl chill! just talk about it w/ her. what i did with my bff was that we're just gonna flirt w/him 24/7 and let him choose. besides, he may not be interested
i had hte same pro last year. i was (and still am, look at my id) in love w/ this hot hot hot guy older than me. but my bff always tend to flirt and spill out stuff like "OMG he's so hot!!!" the only reason i didn't havea CATFIGHT w/ her, is bcause i tryed to remember maybe we rnt gonna b together.

don't "fight" for a guy.. let HIM choose. whomever he likes, he will ask out. and make a pact w/ ur friends that u won't hate on each other when the guy makes his choice.
remember, real friends want the BEST for each other. and if u want the boy cuz he's hot and new, that's not really the best reason to get w/ someone. if u truly have a connection w/ him and like his personality and he likes u, there should be no reason why ur friend wouldn't be happy for u..same goes for her, if she had a connection w/ him, u should be happy for her. but if u are fighting over a guy, u don't even know if he's that great, or if he matches any of ur personalities, u are not being great People. ur not really respecting the guy either. =T then ur not really good friends in the beginning anyways.

I think the solution is simple. Both of you move to Utah where poligamy is legal and let me marry the both of yah. I'm sure I could handle both of you at the same time.
There would be no cattiness in my household between my wives.

wow, if you guys are friends why fight over a guy? it'd be different if one of you were going out with him then the other tried to date him, fight then but not now. if you dont wana fight then i say dont talk to the guy and just worry about your friendship and if she goes after him still it shows how much she's worried about your friendship!!!

Allow her to choose which guy she wants to date. Then you can pick your guy. Or find some other way to settle your disagreements in a different way.
