I'm from Serbia and here tattooing is normal and not so rare, especially on girls.

Don't worry. Young people in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe are very cool about tattoo. It is a fashion here, the same as in the West and you can see all - younger, older, boys or girls wearing it - even on the most incredible parts of their bodies ;)

Piercing too.

If you have one, just go ahead. Come and show us!

I imagine that, like in the US, it depends on where you go. Smaller towns, more traditional and religious, they might give you a few strange looks. But in the city, be it Budapest, Prague, Moscow...city folk are city folk, and you'll fit right in :)
