well depends where you from! you definitely need a national insurance number, without it you get nothing! you only get that national insurance number, if you can prove that you are looking for work or that you are having a job (or studdying i guess) and you need ana ddress and you have to prove that you live there!you also have to register for the national health service! so you can visit a gp and all that! and then again it depends, where you are from! if you are an european citizen it will be quite easy to get a national insurance number! good luck

bring around 3000 USD for every month you are there . London is twice the price of anywhere else in the U.K . I am going to the Midlands which is only half the price of living in London. I can always go down to London on a weekend. I've been there a couple of times and seen alot of what it has. I recommend you go to Picaddilly Circus in London- its quite the night spot and there is lots of action there

From where are you? Outside the U.K.?

I would say to keep in touch with your embassy if you're not a citizen of the U.K.

My bosses daughter just moved there, she hates it! She complains that her apartment is too small and cost way too much, and when she and her friends went out for a round a drinks, the first round was like 50 bucks for a couple of beers! She says it is too crowded and wants to move back to Florida, Sunshine State :)

I went last year for Spring Break. The city is the greatest place that I have ever visited. The only downfall is the expense of living.
