Credit card information is privileged information and should never be used for any other purpose than paying bills. All other uses are a breach of privacy and if it ever happened to me and I could find out who did it, I would sue both the waiter/waitress and the business that employs him/her.

The worst part is that many wait staff make substantially more than the cooks who prepare the food. This information IS NOT Public record and may have some dire consequences in regard to identity theft. And for the record, I tip CA$H when I use a credit card. If they want to skim a little when they pool the tips at the end of the night, then that's fine with me. 15% is the standard, 20% is for exceptional service and if I feel that I need to leave a 10% tip, I get a manager because there was a problem!!

Let me tell you this one, went out ot eat and the waiter was crappy and rude. We were in a high end restaurant and the more of a jerk he became the more I was determined to not tip. I know they expect tips but I refuse if the service is bad. Anyway, by the time we finished and he had never refilled my tea I decided not to leave a tip. He ran out the front door and starting screaming at me as I was walking to my car. I just turned to him and said," this is why no tip from me, if I had wanted someone to be rude to me I would still be married to my ex." He called me an F**king Bi*ch and went back inside. Had I been his boss I would have fired him on the spot and I will bet that he caused himself to lose a few more tips when the other customers heard him. By the way, I was always a waitress so I know what the tips are for, good service with a smile, not an a s s with a bad attitude.

I'll never be on that list because I always tip 20% MINIMUM! Usually 20% plus a couple of dollars to make up for ignorant people and/or idiots who tip less, or worse, stiff the waitstaff.
If the service is bad, I only tip 15%, but that has only happened a couple of times ever. Telling the waiter that you are only tipping 15% because of an improperly handled visit will get a lot more attention than stiffing, because you'll only be seen as another moron if you just withhold the tip.

I have waitressed and bartended for a long time and I would love to see that site. But I wouldn't put anyone on there unless they were completely ridiculous like not tipping at all or a very low tip. You have to keep in mind that you are usually being tipped on your service so as long as that was on point they really have no reason to be stingy with the tip. Sometimes I know people dont have that much money (so they should eat at home or get fast food) so its the thought that counts if they tip only a little (as long as they were not rude and overly demanding).

I don't think that is right at all! I always tip waiters and waitresses 10% and that's only if they did a great job. For them to post your name on the Internet is completely inexcusable!

If you want better tips you have to provide good service, there was a waiter that my friends and I got in Gatlinburg, he was awesome so awesome infact that the tip we gave him was more then the actual bill lol

Yeah, but what are the odds that the waitor is going to check the list, write it down of everyone in the area and then remember "oh, that guy doesn't tip!" lol

obviously youv'e never waited tables.. I believe it! Maybe I don't agree with the posting of their name, but it's really annoying when people pull out those damn tip cards and figure out you 15-20% tip. This is not 1970
