No doubt it was. The author, Garcia Marquez is one of the best Latin American authors and sells books in Brazil as well as Portugal. Look in Amazon.com

If you don't have any luck with Amazon.com try Amazon.co.uk that it will definitely have it or at least other stores available. (Fnac store is fantastic to get books like that, by mail, but unfortunately they don't have any site in English.
