The song that I've found the scariest is "When The Man Comes Around", by Johnny Cash.
Its played on the beginning of the film "Dawn Of The Dead", the new version, released sometime in the last 2 or 3 years. I find it scary, because its played with scenes from the film, which really make it quite spooky.
Its worse when you listen carefully to the lyrics, and I think it was a really inspired choice.

Yup, that's scary. Have you ever listened to the lyrics to 'Floyd The Barber' by Nirvana, disturbing stuff. Also 'Come to Daddy' by Aphex Twin, especially when you watch the video too. 'Helter Skelter' by The Beatles is scary too, because it inspired the murder of Sharon Tate.
Good question!

try and find utopia by pigface. sample lyrics:
"i saw the best minds of my generation running on empty superglued to the tv sipping chemical cocktails alive to the universe dead to the world hallunicating delusions of media reality in camden town
hes in a suit shes in a straightjacket....."
"the cities all wrapped up like an electronic cocoon if you close your eyes you can observe the blueprints if you lay in the street you can hear it humming building up slowly from underground as synapses collapse bridges snap into a restless utopia." the sound on this track is agressive but focused also which adds to the whole scary atmosphere i remembered all those lyrics from memory by the way sometomes i amaze myself!

Bach, toccata and fugue in D minor...You might not think you know it, but if you heard it, I guarantee you would recognize it...Very dark, very evil classical piece. If you've ever seen the original 1975 film Rollerball, This is the piece playing in the opening credits...

For me Bowie's Heroes album is the scariest album of all times, especially Sense of Doubt - dark, mysterious, haunting.
