3 things I saw:
1) SD not as good as a 27-0 scores shows and the Raiders not that bad.
2) SD was coming after Brooks, Raiders never adjusted....kept waiting for some quick outs, slants, draws...anything to back the rush off and the Raiders never did it.
3) SD keeps using LT that way, we won't last the year. Thinks you'll see every D the Chargers face this year will put 8 in the box, stop LT, and make Rivers actually do something.

I think people don't give the Chargers any respect. #1 defense against the run last season. they improved thier pass Defense. The O line opened up the run for LT. Rivers only made 11 pass attemps but look at the completions he made, on the money. It's just the first game so there are still some questions to be answerd. Also Marty has had the Raiders number for awhile. The chargers have won 5 in a row against the Raiders and Marty has won 80 % of the time against them.

Chargers aren't as good as the raiders made them look. Raiders offence didn't adjust to a 4 man rush C'mon most of those sacks were on just 4 lineman rushing.

If you watched Brooks did a 5 to 7 drop all day long and he need to be doing 2 to 3 step drop and GIT RID OF THE DAMN BALL.

The Chargers come to my town Pittsburgh, well see if that defense is for real. Take nothing away from the Chargers it's a dog eat dog world if we can beat you up we will. Thats the NFL. I wouldn't go predicting superbowls after a win over the Raiders.

Well, I think the Charger defense overachieved a little bit. I think they're a good, but not that good.

The offense for the Chargers will basically be 70% LaDanian Tomlinson for the rest of the season. They're taking it easy on Phillip Rivers until he has a firm grasp on the QB position. With that being said, the Chargers will probably struggle when confronted with a good run defense.

The Raiders looked awful. Aaron Brooks looked uneasy, Lamont Jordan never seemed to get it giong and the Raiders run defense was an absolute joke.

So I think it was a matter of the Raiders really being that bad.

Until the prove otherwise...as a fan it sucks to say it.. the Raiders were awful all around...(actually Lechler looked good as usual...you just don't want to say that your best player for the night was the punter)

In the first Quarter LT had over 100 yards...then the Raider D actually showed up...LT finished the game with 130 but the damage had been done.

The O line for Oakland was uneasy, flustered and once they hit 3/4 sacks allowed just copletely fell apart. The coaches did an awful job of keeping to a game plan and it showed that they hit the panic button as well.

Overall, I would have to say that there are still some teams out there that could be considered "worse", but until they prove it, the Riaders are not a good team right now...plenty of talent...just a bad "team"

Chargers were too damn much for the Raiders. I was hoping that the Raiders could at least start it off on the right foot this year but they again blew it.

At least we got 3 teams in California that's all I care about.

I THINK THAT THE rAIDERS WERE NOT PREPARED FOR THE GAME. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP AT ALL. aARON BROOKS WAS VERY INCONSISTANT BUT THE CHARGERS HAVE BEEN A SUPRISE IN THAT GAME IF YOU ASK ME!
