Rocky Horror Picture Show was my first thought too, but, I am not sure how I feel about the Star Wars legacy anymore. I think it has gone downhill/
1. RHPS
2. A Nightmare on Elm St.
3. Star Wars
4. The Crow (still a pretty strong goth staple)
5. Billy Madison (why not)

1. Rocky Horror
2. Star Trek
3 . Star Wars
4. Serenity (gotta give this one since it was fan fervor that got the movie made in the first place)
5. Donnie Darko (I still see that movie run occasionally in big screen theaters)
Honorable Mention: The Crow, Harry Potter (didn't put them at the top because it's mainly fans of the books i.e. the fans wait in line more for the books than they do the movies)
