Everyone at work laughs... but I have a phobia of helicopters.

When they are buzzing overhead, I get rather tetchy and anxious... we have a fair few overhead most days as our office is just up the road from an RAF base in Middlesex.

I can identify several types now as a result...

I don't think there is a name for this one yet, but if anyone else out there has this let me know. martinelsenATgmaildotcom

nice question btw.

I cant say I do, all of my fears, or phobias rather, are quite normal, I'm afraid of neva bein loved. i am afraid of bein rejected, not accpted, im afraid of bugs, and vicious animals. oh actually im afraid of getting perms, anything that involves me washing my hair i do it, but im afraid, cuz water can get in my eyes, with the substances i put in my hair can be dangerous, or sometimes water gets in my mouth or nose and causes me not to breathe, so i guess that could be a wierd phobia to some, but it's not to me.

I had AGORAPHOBIA. :)
Which is not a simple phobia like phobias with just dogs, or germs, or cats.
Also is not categorized with social phobias.

I am afraid of fire or anything hot. I can't even take things out of the oven... I make other people do it for me. I'm afraid to use a curling iron or a hair straightener, because I might burn myself. I refuse to use a lighter or matches, and I am thankful for that because it has kept me from taking up smoking!

I can't stand bananas. I know it's weird but I don't like them. And I can spot someone eating a banana miles away.
