Each applies in different contexts.

Functionalist models tend to predict how something should work, based on the defined goals and procedures.

Interactionst models look at things not in isolation, but rather in terms of how each influences the others.

There are multiple different Conflict models, but the common thread is to assume that differences will lead to incompatibility, and therefore seek to minimize differences to avoid conflicts.

There is no one right system that has the best answers for every situation, and each of these could come to different rules in cases.
