My school is about 95% black. If a girl were to use the word "like" a lot in a sentenece, they would say stop "talking white". If they were to motion there hands a lot while talking, they would say "your acting like a white girl". If a boy were to talk and over enunciate (to try to speak clearly), they would say you "talking like a white boy". Some girls will try to imitate "white girls" and say "I was all like yeah, and then I was a like over there." They refer to things that they usually don't do as acting "white". I know it is wrong. My quesetion is do kids in your school say some is acting "black"? By the way, I am about 50% black, 40% white, and 10% Indian, so it kinda makes me mad when people say that.

No, people in my school don't say that. By saying that, that would make us racist. By the way, Caucasian people don't talk like that. We don't all say like every other word. I do try to enunciate but no one I know says like every other word.

I went to a boring white school. The only enthic groups were the hispanics which were like five people and the people from other countries. So no never heard anything refering to race in my school. Except when some nasty close minded people wore shirts that said go back to Mexico. They deserved the pusnishment they got.
So No never heard anything like that but I would've liked more diversity in my school. I have nothing agaisn't anybody. It stinks that life can be so cruel.

I know I'm not white but a person I know who says the word like a lot in a sentence is now called "Jitters". For me, people say stop acting so Haitian or something like that, but we (I'm Haitian) take it as a compliment. We're proud about where we're from and you should too.

I'm in junior high, and yes, I know some white kids that do act black. They are the punks. One even told somebody "You just hate me because I'm black". They dont make any sense at all.

Yeah, I've heard people do that before.
I know it sucks, but racism is common just about everywhere.
Just don't participate in it yourself, and maybe you'll influence others to do the same.
