So, you think torturing a fisher cat will make it change its ways, or you just some immature TWIT looking for revenge on an animal doing what it was created to do? Put your birds in a better pen next time, and learn to live with nature. By the way, it's pretty cruel to confine birds that should be in the wild.

I would suggest you fence in the animals you wish to protect with fencing fine enough to keep out the unwanted predators. If the fishers can climb fencing, you will need to include overhanging baffles in your installation, e.g.:

This is cruel because it's making you be responsible for ensure the safety of animals in your care, which is apparently something you are loathe to do, or you would have done it already.

Fishers -can- be pretty nasty - one took three of four kittens in a litter from my aunt's farm.
The cruelest way won't be the most efficient, though - your end desire is to get rid of them, so go with the most efficient. Even if it means getting animal control to ship them off to another location, the point is they're gone. I'd go with efficiency.
