You'll need to get a copy of AutoCAD or other drawing software and install it on your PC.

Depends on the lessons.
If you're needing to produce results for a class, install the software the class uses (you can usually find it discounted for students) and follow the instructor's directions.
If you're trying to learn on your own, most CAD programs offer tutorials on how to use their software, I'd start there.
