Does the wiring for my new Hot tub have to go under ground?

The wires need to be properly insulated. PVC pipe, etc.Make damn sure the whole thing is properly grounded and protected by a Ground Fault Interrupt Circuit.A reputable contractor can give you the National Electrical Code Standard Requirements.

depends on the location of the tub in reference to the house and area.......mine is on my deck and i had the wire hung from the floor joist of the deck in conduit.....remember to get a GFIC breaker for the circuit tho........will save ur life!

yes it should . In a piece of coduit so you don't hit it with a lawnmower or trip on it.
