I dont know where they got info from, But it stands to reason that it should be true babies are into everything pick up food with fingers and anythin else they can reach then wipe em on high chair a wipe with the dish cloth just adds more germs unless its washed with disinfectant

Well just incase, I started serving my kids meals on the toliet seat as I dont want them getting too many germs from their high chair.

i dunno but the dettol cleaner you are supposedly able to use all around the house cant be used on quite a lot of things, wont be buying that again!
