man that was quality...
first I looked at it like an idiot looked at the table at the picture at asked why this should be so scary
I wanted to look at the resolved picture, which I thought would be at the bottom of the page when suddenly this
voice and face appeared.
I think it is because you are so concentrated it shocks you ...

Is it one of those things where something jumps out at you when you least expect it? If so, you kind of missed the point, haha. You are supposted to not know that it's going to jump out and scare you, and then you will be really scared when it does. I hate those things, they always scare the hell out of me!
