Has anyone been asked a behavioral question? If so, how did you respond?

I was asked one on a phone interview. I was a little surprised. What is the best way to approach it? I knew about the company but only from the website so it was difficult to answer.

By behavior, I mean there is a hypothetical scenario. For example, I was asked how to deal with a marketing manager from a credit card company.

if someone asks about my behaviour then i just tell them that my behaviour is fine and then ask them why they're asking
