I might have gone with the Twins yesterday, but, after Liriano left the game early, ending his season, you kinda have to wonder about them especially if they are in a best of 7 series.
The Tigers are hangin' on by a thread and I think they lack the maturity to really hang tough through the play-offs.
Oakland is just cruising in the AL West, I really don't think the Angels have enough season left to catch them(Thank God....lol).
you can say what you want about the Yankees, but they have been tough all season long, surviving injuries, lackluster pitching , and a hit or miss bullpen. With Matsui and Sheffield comming back, they will have what will prolly go down as one of, if not THE, best ofensive line-ups in the history of baseball.

The Mets might be able to pull off the NL, but my gut tells me that the Dodgers just might have the pitching to eek out a pennent against them.Actually, I'd love to see the Marlins get into the wild card,I think they could give the Mets a hard time, too.
I agree with another answerer that called the NL a AAAA league. I mean the Mets are in a division where team'shave a hard time playing .500 ball. St Louis is like hot and cold running water.

So with all that of that, I suppose it's really possible to be lookin' at a Subway Series.
Geez, I'm gonna feel terrible knowing that Penguin Gal won't be watching. I'm sure the Ynakees and the Mets feel the same way.

no Subway series this yr, Sorry New Yorkers!!!!
Just cuz the Mets have a good lead in their division doesn't mean that they are a great team. The Mets r going to choke, sorry, but its true, trust me. Remember they lost to the Dodgers when 2 1st time starting pitchers took the mound & they scored only 1 run, c'mon, how good r u? (click on the link b-low to refresh ur memory)
Now the Yankees, well, dont think that they'll get past the tigers that easily. i'll tell u, those tigers or any other team in the AL can give the yankees a run for their money, so don't be too confident!!
Besides, it seems that every team that Pudge goes to, that team seems to go to the playoffs/World Series!!
my predictions: world series: Dodgers vs Tigers

& of course I'm picking my Blue Crew!!! Go Dodgers!!!!

It looks as though that a subway series is a strong possibility. However, I still think the Tigers will beat the Yankees for the pennant and will beat the Mets in six games in the World Series.

Chow!!

I'm gonna roll with the Twins in the AL because they're playing great right now and have basically caught up with Detroit after they were blowing everyone away earlier in the season.

Looks like the Mets have the NL on lock though.

World Series prediction: Twins vs. Mets

i would say no because the yankees r gunna play the toughest teams in the playoffs there pitching is getting better and a-rod's coming bac finally but i think the twins are going to the world series. on the other hand the mets r the favorite nd they're gunna make it pedro's comin bac cliff floyd is bac delgado is on a tear, beltran is a mvp competite, david wright is getting out of his slump and valentin is doing his best.green filling in the little holes so its all good. if they play the dogders they'll win delgado is 8-15 4hrs nd 12 rbis in the season with dogders so they go all the way

I wanna see the Yanks and Mets go to the series this year. That would be great to have another subway series.
