la arpillera = the burlap

El Morro = the nose

el mambo = the "latin dance"

el uniforme escolar = scholastic uniform, I think it's basically what you wear for school

& el licuado de mango, papaya, o platano = mango smoothy, papaya or platano (these are just deserts)

tortilla mexicana & tortilla espanola = they are just tortillas with different ingredients, fillings.

Arpillera - burlap.
Morro - the nose of an animal or an airplane.
Mambo - a Cuban musical style. It's a mix of Jazz with Caribbean music.
Uniforme Escolar - the dress code kids have to wear at school.
Licuado - a fruit shake. Think of a milk shake, but with fruits instead of ice cream. By the way, there's no fruit shake of "platano" (plantain.) I guess they mean a banana shake.

The Mexican tortilla is a corn mass you can bake as a pancake or eat as a sandwich. The Spanish tortilla is an omelet whose main ingredient, besides eggs, is potato and looks like some sort of pizza.

Your best bet is to buy a good Spanish-English Dictionary. That's what I had to do when I learned, and it helped a lot!
