It seems the right size but would the libretto recognise it. The libretto has a p75 processor and 16mB of memory.

I would have to say no. You're looking at using win 95 as the OS and that won't really be able to handle partitions over 2gb. Aside from that, I'm willing to bet that the IDE interface is different and it probably won't mate up. Either way, the computer just won't be able to make heads or tails of a 30GB hdd. Look on e-bay for a hdd.
