I've design a web page on ms frontpage and posted it on the internet using cpanel. Viewing it from my 14" CRT monitor it looks great. But when I view it from a 19" LCD monitor, its pics and words gets onto one another and are not well alined as when I designed it. How can I optimise my web page so that it looks good on all types of monitors. Thx

When you do the spacing and sizing (especially of tables) , you have to account for that. Using % instead of pixels for ex. will allow the tables to expand to the size of the viewer's screen, etc.

Also, at least in FP2000, the server side software had to have FP enabled and you had to upload with FP, not just FTP or whatever.

The reason for the mishap is most likely because you designed the website in one screen resolution, and in doing so, Frontpage "tricked" you into thinking of the alignments of the paragraphs. Each "line" should wrap around the previous.

This is an example of a sentence that is broken into

different segments

Fixed Example:

This is an example of a sentence that was broken into different segments but is now fixed

I hope that you understand this.

Learn HTML. Using WYSIWYG editors like Front Page and Dreamweaver is almost guarenteed to cause problems. It's probably not valid, and it probably won't even work on browsers other than IE.
