If you have been friends for awhile and you have photos start her a scrapbook. Take some of your favorite photos and find a cute scrapbook album and stickers and start out making a few pages for her. Then she can take it from there. I did this for a friend of mine and it was her favorite gift, because it took some time and was different. I also gave her some cute scissors and paper and stickers and things to continue her book on.

Get her one of those build a bears. We were there a couple of weeks ago and there was a girl there making one for her best friend. She picked out and outfit that reminded her of her friend.
OR
You can get her a gift card to a store she really likes, and treat her to lunch. That way you two can spend time together, and she will have a gift card to buy whatever she wants (maybe something to wear at her engagement party).
