I am getting my Pelvic bone broke what should I expect?

This is new for me and I do not see the doctor doing the surgery until Oct. 4th but I thought some people online might know what I should expect. I was told by another doctor I am seeing that I would go through traction& immobility in the hospital 2 weeks&at home 2 weeks. I was also told I would have a device on that looked like an erecter set but I can not find pictures of this device online. Thanks. :-)

Expect the things the doctor tells you to expect and a lot of pain.
