I recommended this product to someone who asked about treating scars made by cat bites/scratches then discovered the same product was recommended by several other people answering the same question. I thought it was similar to a skin oil by Clarins but cheaper. I thought I was the only one brave enough to try it as it is made in Russia, a country not famous for producing quality skincare products. So far, I have found it quite pleasant to use as an evening moisturiser occasionally. Are there side effects? Are there real benefits in using it in your skincare routine?

Ive used it for ages Ive never had any side affects and it works well on dry legs after a shower or a bath, my daughter in law uses it on her stretch marks and they have faded alot, it may be due to Bio OIl , maybe not , but she has suffered no side affects either just softer skin , i really love Bio Oil and recommend it to everyone

Bio oil ?
It does not matter from whence it came.
You really might as well rub some supermarket veg. oil on, and give your skin a rub with a pumice stone. As the ancient Romans did. It works.
Not that I practice that too often, but I don't have any skin problems as perhaps a result.
Worth a try - ignore silly TV promotions.
All the best,
Bob

My daughter tried it on a big appedix scar, and it seems to have helped reduce itsappearance, with no side effects at all.

bio oils should not be used where the body is exposed to the sun. it is advisable to use only at night.
