Because the government should not be in the business of legislating morality or obstructing the rights of consenting adults. The constitution was designed to limit government's intrusion into out personal lives. But slowly over the last 220 years we have allowed the government to not only severely restrict our liberties, it has grown so large that the monster cannot be chained.

It sounds like you are asking why the government should or should not make pre-marital sex criminal, punishable by the death penalty.

Well, for one, sex is natural and not inherently harmful to anyone. And laws aren't natural, and are often harmful. So, making something that is natural punishable by death just because you don't like it is irrational.

No, because the punishment has to fit the crime. That is an extremely disproportionate punishment. Especially, since sex before marriage shouldn't even be the government's business.

They would never make such laws Coz if the did it first the Judge and then the Government will be hanged till death.

The idea of premarital sex is only looked down upon by the religious right. We have what is called the separation of church & state.

Why should the government tell 2 consenting legal age adults what they can do? That is not the role of government.

with marriage being as meaningless as it has become, i suppose we could just get married to anyone we felt like having sex with; that way it wouldn't be technically "immoral." that's how the FLDS do it anyway. charming!
