They're Scandanavian, or German owned companies, so I think they treat their staff well.
Never work for an American owned company if you can avoid it.

The Aldi near me pays pretty well for a supermarket... something like £7 an hour maybe? The catch is, you're 'self employed'. Seems you have to memorise all the prices of everything... nothing is bar coded or price tagged.. they put stuff thru at lightning speed, mega fast on the tills... seems you have to be, job requirement...

They sell substandard food and their company is hardly based on quality.The general appearance of their stores is scruffy.

i haven't worked for them personally but i have never heard anyone who works for them say a bad word... and i know a few people who work for them
