Yes, I think they should rebuild the WTC with one revision...they should each be in the shape of a hand "flipping the bird" to Osama and all the other terrorists who thought America would run sniviling and crying for mercy. It'd be a great tribute to the resolve of the American people!

I don't think they should build the twin towers.

What happened at WTC was horrible, but rebuilding the towers doesn't do those memories any good. Nor will it bring back the people who died. All it does is shows that the country is letting its ego rule it, and is still living in the past and refuses to move on.

Instead they should use that space to create a Central Park kind of space where children can come and play and be happy. So that the souls of those who died there can rest in peace.

Yes, they should rebuild, because we need to go on "business as usual" to show the world that we can recover from anything, that the "American Spirit" cannot be bombed away.
No park, no huge memorial.
Just a building and maybe a plaque, so we don't become "professional victims."
It was a horrible, horrible event with tremendous loss of life and innocence. No one can deny it.
The best way to honor those who died and suffered (all of US) is to bind us together as a force for justice and strength in the world, a real world leader, like we used to be, and not the demon we are becoming We need to take the threat of ALL (including christian) fundamentalists seriously.
We need to DECLARE WAR on AL-quada-Legal war, and raise some genuine hell over there. Nuclear Hell, if necessary.
We need to go into real WAR mode in THIS country-like in WW11 and stop fiddling around with ARAB oil and countries that don't "like" us.
Few people in this country realize how terribly serious this is. I was hoping that the terrible tragedy of 9/11 would galvanize the whole country to band together and demand ACTION against a REAL enemy and not "terrorism" an idea, like love or hate or sadness.
You can't KILL an idea, but you can and must kill people who mean to kill you for who you are. They do not take prisoners.
We could ERASE them in short order if we were really at WAR, and quit being diplomatic and strategic.
If we don't, you and I are all going to be kneeling on prayer mats, praising allah or getting beheaded or both.

No I don't think they should rebuild the towers. I feel like a memorial should erected on that spot. So many people lost their lives there, we need something to show that they are not forgotten.

Yes I think they should rebuild, because if they don't then the terrorists will have accomplished their objective. I also think that some sort of memorial should be erected, similar to the one in Oklahoma City.
