Why do I always see conservatives bashing liberals, but rarely the other way around?

Wow. See what i mean? Im not even considered a liberal and all of you are freaking out and saying I am one! See what I mean? And im just talking about on Yahoo! answeres.

And because of some of my views, ive been called names like "Gay baby killer" but I have never said anything liek that to anyone and there beliefs. i do have alot of the democratic views but would never consider myself any part. I have pro views for both sides.

Apparently you are not looking hard enough, because I see both sides bashing each other all day long on here. I guess you miss all those Neo-Con, Repug, fascists, and in general idiot comments that are received if you don't agree with liberals. I don't agree with it from either side. I think it is just a waste of time, and adds nothing to the discussion. However, it annoys me even more when someone like yourself posts that it's only one side doing it. Take the blinders off.

You are either very selective in what you read and watch or totally spaced out. Cindy Sheehan,most of Hollywood,all the Dem's and all the muslim loving world bash conservative ideas and beliefs on a daily basis but usually with alot more venom then conservatives can muster, I find this funny since conservatives are said to be evil masters of the evil empire but they rarely draw blood with their tongues. Read some Durbin comments, go to Fat man Moore's sight and see what they have to say about conservatives and then see if it isn't tit for tat.

You just don't notice it as much. Liberals have a strong ally in the Media. They make a lot of noise about anything they take offense to, such as critical review by Conservatives. Conservatives tend to ignore most of the political antics of the Left ( with the exception of very Right Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh) and concentrate on Doing instead of complaining about slights form the opposing view.

Obviously you are new to this site...liberals are bashing conservatives at least as much as the inverse. You can have any ideology you want but don't fool yourself into thinking people of your affiliation are above the fray. Followers of both party's ideology spend more time insulting the others than having any real dialog.

I always thought that liberals bashed conservatives, I personally, am a conservative, but I am sure not to bash anyone. I don't think that it's right. I do however, believe that sometimes both sides can get a little out of line. Don't let a few bad conservatives ruin your inpression of all of us. : )

Because Conservatives generally don't have the intellectual fortitude to argue an opposing opinion without being insulting and hateful. they usually have a hard time articulating and can't debunk a liberal without trying to use the word "liberal" as a curse word.
The reason is that they are brainwashed into hating liberals because they know we are so right on so many things.

Generally speaking liberals ( whom I like to refer as progressives ) for the most part attempt to explain their position and debate the ideas of the other person. This is because they are confident in the knowledge they posses, and realize that through communication and understanding a consensus can be reached. Conservatives (whom I choose to refer to as retrogrades) on the other hand, often attack the person and seldom attempt to explain their position. This is because generally speaking they lack the eloquence of the spoken word, so, when faced with an argument they can not debate and/or combat, instead of accepting the position of the other person, they often resort to personal attacks.

That by no means describes everybody, it simply is an attempt to answer your question using generalities.

You are joking. Conservatives are literally hated by many liberals. Hated, for they believe conservatives are all racist, sexist, poor-hating, war-mongering, child-killing arseholes. (Not that some conservatives don't hate liberals too. But that wasn't your question.)
