The leaves may start to fall symbolizing the end of one season. Sadness may ensue but take heart my sweat blue faerie, with an end comes a new beginning, a new season where we can find ourselves all over again and find out new and unusual things about ourselves and the others we surround ourselves with.

Not nearly. Nothing beats coming home from a walk through moist leaves in all colours, with rain dripping off your hat and boots. Then lighting a few candles at home, pouring a good glass of whisky.. Warming up with a book (or with your loved one) while the rain lashes against the windows. It's the sigh after "I'm glad I'm back home" that alone makes Autumn well worth its while. Even outside, exposed to the elements, I can't but marvel and feel at one with it all. Perhaps people's general disdain for this most underrated of all seasons enhances it for me. I can find peace and solitude out there. So I'll thank rather than blame anyone seeking shelter inside, waiting for Christmas and Winter holidays. Their ignorance is bliss ;o)

I live in California, it stays green here year round. Although I do miss the actual season of Fall. It doesn't exsist out here, not like it does in my home town. =(
