why do sex offenders have so many rights? And why can't there simply be a law in which the pedophiles are put to rest (executed) once it is a "fact" they have done what they are accused of doing? Our prisons would be less crowded, and our tax money could help people who actually deserve to be helped!
We put people in prison who "may" be guilty of fraud, or
who "might" have been involved in another lesser crime. It
doesn't make any sense that we turn around and "protect"
a pedophile as if he or she is special! Our government is
backward in it's laws and beliefs. Then they act "shocked
that a lot of potencially "good" people are breaking the law suddenly, or doing things they never did before? DUH!

Sure. Why don't we just get a rope and hang them in the town square.

Most people would agree with that theory however too many liberals would screw that up. They seem to think that they can be rehabilitated. I personally always figured we need to move sex offenders in with liberals and let them act as probation officers for there good friends the pedophiles. The pedophiles can work part time babysitting their children while they are at work. Maybe when they came home and found their little Johnnie or Jannie sodomized and there intestines ripped out they would get the point and all this insanity plea and rehabilitation crap would come to an end.

It is very easy to be forgiving when it wasn't your kid.

It's not that they have any more rights than we do.... but we are very careful to not violate them. I would hate for a sex offender to be released because of a technicality because we violated his constitutional right. If his rights are protected we have a better chance of finding him guilty and getting him off the street.

We also want to make sure that sex acusations are founded.. How many peoples lives have been ruined by false accusations? If it's one it's too many. Sometimes the goverment is so quick to act on a false claim only finding out later that the acuser was just angry at that person and trying to make his life miserable.

So it is important for all alleged criminals to have thier rights protected. And for the case to be thoroughly investigated before arresting someone or taking it to court.

Someone found innocent of a sex accusation will forever live with it. And everyone will have doubt. That life is forever ruined... so we ave to be careful.

If we think that the legal system is fair, that all cops are honest and all accusations in this country are legitaimate.... we are badly mistaken... And in order to create a check and balance we try to conserve the human rights of each accused person. Protect them under the constitution.... Remember everyone is innocent until proven guilty.... even though in my view that is rarely the case since the media as them tried by public opinion before the case is even heard...

Remember too.... in a election year we are more apt to find crimes punished more severely and bonds being higher just creat the illusion that the judge (who is hearing the case and running for reelection) is tougher on crimes than his opponent. It's just the way it works.

It's the only system we have and it works....most of the time... It's better than the alternative as you see in other countries.

There are all kinds of sex crimes. Is death appropriate for a pedifile as well as a teen who is accused of having sex with his minor girl friend by the parents when we know it was consentual?

Urinating against a building after a night of drinking is common place. Yet it brings a charge of indescent exposure.... which is a sex crime too. Want to be executed cuz you drank too much?

Well, if you can answer this question then possibly it may shed some light on yours!

Why is it a prostitute is arrested an jailed for her occupation yet the country is smothered in "massage parlors" for the wealthy that go totally un-noticed?

And I do not in any way, shape or form condone pedophiles either!

Maybe a hooker or two isn't such a bad thing after all! At least they might leave our children alone!!!!!!

Also, most pedophiles are from upper class and not the bottom of the barrel!!!!!

I feel like anyone who is a sex offender should be punished based on their crime. There have been some on the sex offenders list who were jailed because the girlfriend they slept with was 16 and they were 17 or 18 and the parents pressed charges. In this case it was over active teenage hormones. But any other sex offender whether they be a rapist or pedophile etc. needs to be thrown in jail and serve a huge sentence.
But of course that is not all the judgement for them. God will judge every deed.

you would possibly want to nicely be arrested on a legal substitute yet searching on everybody in touch - mothers and fathers, the police, the DA, and also you 2 - it would want to nicely be decreased to a misdemeanor sex offense. yet.... that could want to nonetheless placed on on a sex criminal record and which will hang-out you for YEARS if not for existence. you'll have a really demanding time getting a interest, getting an condominium, entering into college, and so on. the suggestion to provide up having sex now might want to be valueless because the crime has already been dedicated. the foremost seems conserving her mom calm till she turns 18, it really is decrease than one three hundred and sixty 5 days. discover out what mom needs and comply - she holds your existence in her palms.

Cause alot of the "sex offenders" charges come from them being like 18 or 19 and their girlfriend or boyfriend is like 17. Not all "Sex offenders" charges come from "rape" and or molesting little kids.
They don't really get alot of rights. They have to register at a sex offender and remain on that list, plus what ever their sentence is for they have to do that, then they are restrict on where they can live, Letters are sent out to their neighborhood letting them know they have a registered sex offend in the area. So while they do have some rights they still have limits set before them.
I think it all depends on the situation. Yes if its "rape" or "molesting a child" then yes a lot of them get more rights then they deserve. However the cases that are people are girlfriend and boyfriends and one turns 18 before the other one, then I don't think they should be put to death.
People are Innocent until proved guilty. You can't just rush to give some one the death penalty cause you could be killing a lot of Innocent people.

our justice system is not perfect. which is why i don't believe in the death penalty, nor in marking people so that they become perpetual outcasts. have you ever sat on a jury or known anyone in prison? then you know not what you ask for...

you are completely deranged when you say the government protects pedophiles: the philosophy of innocent until proven guilty should not be withheld from anyone accused of any crime.

children must be protected, but our society will never be completely secure. how can you believe that a law can defeat evil so simply? it dwells in all of us.

when i was with my ex boyfriend of 12 years, his daughter (6 at the time) told her daddy that a man across the street from where he was working (installin a swimming pool) showed her his pee-pee. he was arrested, charged, the whole bit. he now is on the sex - pedophile list. has been for about 10 years now.
she told me last week that she was lying. she wanted daddy's attention and he was busy working.
she ruined this man's life because she was wanting attention from her daddy.
does he deserve to be executed over a LIE? the lie of a smart 6 year old?

I agree that repeat child predators need the death penalty (they never seem to get any better).

But be careful, many people who had sex with their girlfriend (who happened to be under the legal age) and may be just a couple of years older are permanently labeled as sex offenders. That is just wrong. I am by no means advocating sex for underage girls, we just need to be clearer on this label!

I'm not sure what you're asking for... do you think anyone who's charged with a sex offense should be considered guilty until proven innocent?

If so, count me out.
