he started this unncessary war, and without congress giving him the "ok" to do so. he is draining our economy and causing many countries and groups to hate us even more. he has lied several times such as the reason for why we went into war, and lied about the prisoners in the secret prisons. people did not know too much about him the first time, and i won't blame the people who voted for him the first time. but the people who voted for him the 2nd time are just as idiotic as bush is. (bush has an iq of 91)
sorry all you uninformed Bush-supporters, but the truth always hurts. btw...if you still support Bush, i assume you don't watch the news...ever!

I voted for Ronald Reagan the 2 times he ran and was elected. I voted for G.H.W. Bush the first time he ran. The second time he ran for election I voted for Ross Perot. That was a mistake, because that helped catapult Bill Clinton into office. I voted for G.W. Bush (the son) in both of his Presidential elections.

Why? Mainly because the Democrat opponent (Al Gore) & (John Kerry) were weak. Weak minded. Weak kneed. Weak willed. They had no firm agenda other than to get the Republicans out of office. They are and were divisive and extremely partisan in politics even at the country's expense.

John Kerry became a disgrace to the uniform of every military man and it was blatantly obvious that he was a 2nd rate Ted Kennedy, who at HIS best is only a 3rd rate Kennedy.

I voted for the best man and the best man won......twice.

His cabinet and the one's that surrounded are deeply knowledged in politics as well as social agendas
.
His domestic policies are strong.

His reformation policies were logical.

The only thing I doubted was his Foriegn relation policies, and that turns out to be his/our downfall. But Gore's foreign policies would have just been carried over by Clinton.

But if Gore was in office, I think we'd still be playing guessing games with Afghanastan and Iraq. Bush acted upon them which was the correct move instead of sitting back doing nothing and fighting for diplomacy.

It's a shame the events of 911 have happened as Bush's whole agenda towards his presidency has changed. We were caught with our pants down. Bush and administration has recognized this and attempted to fix and correct the problems as best as possible. Instead of 2 presidencies devoted to social agenda, domestic policies, and reformation; they've had to concentrate on counterterrorism, national secuirity and international diplomacy.
All this while fighting an infinite battle-front: Terrorism.

First time. I was tired of the Democrats taking a strong economy built by Reagan and running it into the ground with social program after social program and they still wanted to implement more social programs. Also, Tipper Gore once headed the PMRC which, through it's use of "Parental Advisory" stickers, helped "gangsta rap", and the anti-woman-anti-non-black attitudes that purvey it, to become a huge success.

Second time. There wasn't an opponent that ran on a platform other than, "I'm not Bush". Kerry had no plan whatsoever, domestic or foreign.

One strong point in W's favor is that he has the advantage of his father's advice and guidance.

Another strong point in W's favor is that absolutely no one with any sense could take Kerry seriously. Kerry has never accomplished anything in his political career; his military career was a cowardly fraud. The SwiftBoat men proved that.

The only reason Kerry was a contender is because the Clintons backed him. They knew he wouldn't win -- which is exactly why they wanted him to oppose W.

Hillary wanted W to take the 2004-2008 presidency so that she could run in 2008. Hillary knew that Kerry didn't have a chance, but she used him ...

If a Democrat had won in 2004, Hillary would not have had a shot at the Oval Office until 2016 -- at which time she would be in her 70's. She didn't want to have to wait that long!

Well, let's see. Al Gore took the fifth in his testimony before Congress concerning the democratic scandal involving campaign contributions in return for computer information to China. Didn't think it was right to vote for a potential felon for president.
Kerry, what can you say about that a**hole. He'd sell his grandmother for a vote. Not his wife though because she has too much money.
Think that about covers why I voted for the other option.
Also, Bush is the only one that at least put forth a plan for terrorism. Everyone else just p*sses and moans.

I voted for Bush both times. I am still strongly supportive of him. I shudder to think what would have happened if either Gore or Kerry had won.

Hope John McClain runs in the next election.

1. Alan Greenspan (All Hail Greenspan) was about to retire. I didn't want a Dirty Democrat to appoint a bad Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Love Dr. Ben S Berneke (even though he's Keynesian instead of Monetary)

2. It was expected to appoint new Supreme Court Justices ... who knew we'd have these two ... what a great choice ... Good Job G. Dubya!!!

3. Wanted someone who wouldn't turn a blind eye to the elderly ... SOCIAL SECURITY & Individual plans ... he tried but we're foiled by those dirty dem's.

4. Didn't want Gore/ Kerry to lead the military ... he protested against his brothers in arms in the 1960's ... that dirty Hippy!!! I wanted a real man who won't back down in conflict ... this is why I'll be hard for me to vote for women since most haven't served in the military. Yeah, George is still doing his job, even against opposition. I shutter to think what Gore would have done on 9-11!

5. Wanted small government - Whoops ... George is getting a big fat "F" on this platform ... but ah, America was attacked. George HAD to go into protection mode. I just hope that we can go back to small government, but fear that we're heading for communism. Ironic that Russia is now perfect capitalist, and USA is nearly communist. Guess we become what we fear, and the USA feared Communism, and Russia feared capitalism. Go figure.

I voted for him because I am a Republican. While I do not always agree with every platform of each individual republican candidate I feel that in general Republicans represent more closely my values. I do not agree with some of Bush's actions. But I want the Republicans to be as strong as possible in every part of government, State, local and National. As long as republicans represent my views more than other the other parties I will vote straight republican tickets. I feel voting in primary elections is my best way to ween those conservatives who do not represent me as closely out of office.

I have always concidered myself a democrat. But I voted for bush both times because I liked what he stood for more than the other candidates.

I don't like all of bush's views but I do like having him as president. Plus, I think president Bush picked a wonderfulcabinet. You can't go wrong with people like Department of Commerce
Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, Department of Education
Secretary Margaret Spellings, Department of Health &
Human Services Secretary Michael O. Leavitt and of course, Department of State Secretary Condoleezza Rice.

Besides, I like it that he is concetrating on work and not getting blowjobss in the oval office like Clinton.

I was too Young to vote the first time, but I would have because of his generally conservative world view; faith, liberty, tax cuts, less regulation of business, willingness to look bad while doing the right thing.
Though I wasn't thrilled with some of his domestic policies, I voted for him the second without hesitation because It was as clear as night and day that he was the one who understood what we face in the war on terror. John Kerry is as liberal as they get. I actually heard him say during the campaign that he would like to return the country to the way it was before 9/11.
NO CONTEST!!
