i once handled a client's divorce where the guy took his wife and 5 month baby girl to India to visit his family. While in India he filed for divorce for his wife. The reason he gave was his wife's failure to produce a boy. He then proceeded to fly back to the states by himself and he took his wife and daughter's passport with him. So they're stranded for 4 weeks. When the wife and daughter gets back he opposes all filings in American courts for support because he claims the divorce is pending in another jurisdiction. Yeah, that one got super nasty.

How about 4 years of trying to get rid of him. Letting him know it was over and he agrees and understands what you are saying, but just comes to the house like you never had the conversation when he gets back from out of town. So the next time he goes you pack up and take the kids and leave...then spend the next 4 years dealing with him stealing the kids when he wanted to get to you, trying to run you off the road, restraining orders, breaking in to your apartment and being there when you woke up, somehow showing up everywhere you are to the point that you honestly start to think he must have implanted some tracking device under your skin somewhere. Sometimes I wonder how I got through it...but I did!! Fun, fun, fun!

No you don't thats the worst thing you can do, I'm going through it now and I couldn't deal with hearing how horrific everyone elses is...then you stress about stuff that might not even be your situation...like listening to pregnancy and birth stories when your pregnant...not a good idea.

i don't believe there is a good divorce in any body's life things may go smoothly and agreeable but if you ever loved that person once its hard and stress full mainly when there is kids in voled but good luck i just went Thur one 8 months ago but me and my x are on good friends speaking ground if you can have it that way its easier to deal with

I can give you a really stressful story once it happens, but I can't afford one now so I'm living in pure hell until then.

My ex is still drinking and driving, molesting kids and getting away with it, and still making my life hell by him still breathing. There isn't enuff space in here to go into the stresses that he's caused and still continues to cause. If you still want the details, u can email me.

Mine was great just completed it today. Yea I am soooo HAPPY
We had nothing to fight about. He owned nothing no kids pretty easy. Sorry to brag
