I don't know. I guess people don't really consider Turkey as a great place to travel for a vacation. I'd love to go--I almost went a few years ago--vacation packages were super cheap after some of the earthquakes over there. I've heard amazing things about the people and the sights over there. I'd love to visit if I ever get the chance! It's definitely on my list of places to visit!

Because your government hasn't accepted the Genocide of 750,000 Assyrians, 1,000,000 Armenians, and close to 1,000,000 Greeks, and your people are turning ancient Assyrian churches into Porn Cinemas. That is my personal reason (and the above communities). I of course have nothing against the people, unless they agree with the government. Turkey is a beautiful country, my family migrated to Iraq from Southern Turkey during the Genocide. Hopefully I'll have the chance to visit one day, when it's safe. :)

Because when most people are thinking of going on vacation they don't really say "we should take our vacation in Turkey". I don't think its a real vacation hot spot if you get my drift.

More people can go to Turkey, they just don't want to. Most people don't like getting kidnapped and having there heads chopped off.

I've been there and didn't really care for it. The Arab countries are much more interesting.
