I don't know. I guess people don't really consider Turkey as a great place to travel for a vacation. I'd love to go--I almost went a few years ago--vacation packages were super cheap after some of the earthquakes over there. I've heard amazing things about the people and the sights over there. I'd love to visit if I ever get the chance! It's definitely on my list of places to visit!

Turkey is a beautiful country, my family migrated to Iraq from Southern Turkey during the Genocide. Hopefully I'll have the chance to visit one day, when it's safe. :)

Because when most people are thinking of going on vacation they don't really say "we should take our vacation in Turkey". I don't think its a real vacation hot spot if you get my drift.

because you have to be careful of what you eat in turkey, a lot of people get diseases from eating the food there, its a very dirty country,
