Well if we knew what type of collectables.If it is NASCAR related try a Becketts Price Guide or go to a major book store and look in the hobby area for price guides from toys to guns to coins to house wares.

An online auction site, like eBay, is good because you can see how much people are actually willing to pay.

depends on what kind of collectable you have.there is different places for different things
