that's the two strategies, unquestionably Technically the uploader / sharer is in greater worry, as by ability of cutting-edge definitions of copyright, he's the violator via fact the sharer is the guy who's putting it obtainable so copies may be made electronically, whether that is merely one piece at a time. on the different hand, there are 2 subject concerns you should notice of: a million) You *can* nevertheless be technically charged as an adjunct / conspiracy to commit copyright violations 2) All of those "sharing" classes that i understand off has no such ingredient as a "get carry of in hassle-free terms" mode. whether you in hassle-free terms have ONE PIECE out of the ten thousand+ products, that piece is right this moment shared with each and every physique else. you could not be sharing the completed report, yet you're ALREADY sharing the products, whether you won't be in a position to open the report yet. interior the attention of the regulation, there is quite no distinction between you and the sharer of an entire report.

File sharing of copyrighted material is not okay. It's no different than walking into Wal-Mart with a CD copier and copying the CDs off the shelf and putting them back. Theft is theft. The fact that you can sit comfortably at home and steal, doesn't make it not theft.

because this isn't a democracy anymore this is a country run by fat cats in Washington trying to get fatter( richer) and so they listen to lobbyist, and to the rich (in this case the music and movie companies) so that the laws reflect what they want not what is right....now with that said it is technically illegal and kinda should be you are sorta stealing if you download music with no intention of paying the creator for it however there are cases like mine where my entire ($3,000-$4000) worth of cd's was stolen so i try to only download what i already owned, also the other and this is the most ridiculous instance of the gov. letting the music/movie ppl have there way...many DVD players will prohibit you from copying a DVD but the thing is you should have every right to back up your own possessions but the way the gov. and music/movie ppl have it now is if you scratch your game or cd or movie and it won't work anymore your forced to buy another copy which is ludicrous because you should have been able to back it up when you bought it....and of course there are ways around these little deterrents but you shouldn't have to find ways around it....ok enough ranting so short answer its cause our gov. is corrupt and listens to the one with the most money, sorry its the way it is until we have another revolution.

And what country are you referring to??? Not the USA, surely, you learned that it is a constitutional republic of representative government. Remember, a democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on dinner.
