I actually went through this when I was in junior high. They say it's for our safety, but really it's because of money issues. They'd have to have separate bathing facilities & locker rooms. Also, it probably has to do with the fact that females generally don't take to being screamed at & just saying yes sir like most boys do - plus the coaches would probably have to try to clean up their language. It's really a double standard if you ask me! Guys can be cheerleaders!

Football is a physically challenging sport that requires weight training and endurance. They might fear for her saftey. I would recommend that she try out for kicker or punter. I did play against some girls in high school but these girls were very strong and aggressive. I hope she finds her niche

Girls shouldn't be playing football.. Could you imagine her getting tackled by a guy?? Seriously... It's too much of a physical sport... You have to be realistic... If she wants to join a sport, how about baseball, volleyball, tennis, even basketball, but not football...

I would ask the school board - Maybe there aren't enough change rooms for girls?.... Maybe they are afraid of groping?
Or Have you ever dealt with an agressive teenage girl?? maybe the boys are afraid of being Whooped by girls---- Just joking - I raised daughters- and no way I'd play football with them! :)

Why the hell would you want your daughter to screw up the boys football? They will not treat her like another boy so she has the advantage right there. And if they did, she would get hurt WORSE! Put her in something else and quit kicking against the goads.
