depends on where u live alot but i dont htink it is although alot of ppl on here said so wear what you like
FYI: my sister is a model and she wears those things in her pictures and around wherever she goes.

Who cares. Make them your own style. If they are out of style they will most likely come back in a few years and if you've been wearing them all along then people won't make fun of you as much. Do what you want.

When I was a kid I read a story about newlyweds and the wife says, "You must never ask me to take off the ribbon around my neck", so of course the husband can't take it and waits till she's asleep and takes off the ribbon and her head rolls onto the floor and she wails, "I told you not toooo..."
Those neck ribbons still freak me out. Sexy, though.

Call me silly and "too independent" to be concerned about fashion, but really, how "officially" or "unofficially" is anything ever in or out of style? I don't view style as anything even remotely black and white like that.

Don't know, but who cares if they're in style or not? First rule of fashion: Break at least one of the rules. If you like them, wear them. Don't be afraid to be your own person with your own taste in clothing and accessories.

I think so, I haven't seen anybody wear one in years. I don't see them in the store either.

No. My girlfriend wears them with certain outfits and they look great. Wear whatever you want.
