I agree with you. It's because they do not respect themselves and their bodies.

I think becuz now a days, people don't look at sex the same way we used to. Now a days it seems like sex is just another daily activity. My first time was beautiful. It was also hot and sexy. I don't know what these kids are thinking in today's generation.

first off, i am impressed that you feel that it should be beautiful, and you are right. it is very special, and anyone who thinks it is about "hot and sexy" clearly has the wrong idea. it is, of course, sexy by nature, but trying to act out some x-rated fantasy for your first time is too much pressure and it takes away from what should be a wonderful memory.

It still can be. Only guys and stupid girls who believe them think it should be "hot and sexy".
My first time was 'beautiful' and I can honestly say I have no regrets. I was mature enough (17) and it was with someone I had dated for a while and really cared about.

Because it has gone away from how God intended, as a bond only shared between a husband and wife, to a right of passage, free for all, it is horrible. I don't blame the media only, I also blame us as adults, and parents, who can't seem to realize what we do is going to affect the children around us. As parents and and adults, we are living with a "don't ask, don't tell" philosophy, the kids don't ask us, and we don't have to tell them about the "facts of life". Forcing them to ask pure strangers on some Internet forum, for the answers of life, because they are too embarrassed to talk to their parents. Its totally bogus, and sad to see. However we are not alone in this battle, and we are getting our tools needed to fight this war. The "abstain till marriage" era is returning with a vengeance, and i only pray that I will be able to raise my children with that belief. One that I myself fell short in learning.

it's the violence and desensatizing of our youth. they just don't give a sh** about anyone but themselves.a guy wants to be the first to take a girls virginity as a primitive master ego. girls are more fearful now because of the desensitizing of the males and somewhat of themselves.
