No. The Governor decided there were too many cars on the streets in California so he raised the age for getting a driver's license to 36. Of course, if you're an illegal alien, you don't need a license at all (or insurance)

Nope. You can get your permit at 15, your license at 16. The newest law however, states that you can not drive alone without someone over the age of 18 with you.

yep they changed it. but u can get a permit at 16. it sux. they say thats the number 1 killer in teens so thats why.
