Is there a theory in Physics or Astrophysics that follows the idea that the universe is just a small part of something bigger (the macroverse?) like we are made of atoms and atoms are made of subatomic particles, the Macroverse is a collection of universes or multiverses? (please provide references if at all possible)

The macrocosmic and the microcosmic may in fact be similar, or in some explanations, even be the same. The order of magnitude or space scale separating planets from each other and the sun are startlingly similar to the scale of separation from electrons to an atom's nucleus. The forces that bind and regulate may be similar, though quantum physics would have us believe otherwise.

Our "universe" may be some tiny atom on the hair on the back of a spider on a cobweb in the dusty attic of some abandoned house in some other macroverse. Conversely, there may be a relatively infinite number of macroverses inside an atom or quark or the subatomic particle of your choice that is a part of the end of our eyelashes.

Actually, if you have ever seen a single human eyelash under an electron microscope, it is fairly startling to see miniscule creatures resembling dinosaurs perambulating around. And I am sure that if these creatures have eyelashes, then there is an infinite series of macroverses there as well.

I've not heard the term "macroverse," but there are several multiple universe theories.

String theory posits multiple universes lying side by side in n dimensions like so many slices of bread in a loaf. Our universe is but one slice of that loaf. Whether the other universes follow the same laws of physics that ours does, no one can speculate with any degree of assurance.

An extension to this theory guesses that our observable universe, the stars, galaxies, etc., results from a collision between two of the unobservable slices of bread. It is an attempt to explain where all the mass-energy that goes into our universe came from.

The white hole theory posits that our observable universe is spewing energy and matter into a mega black hole that surrounds our expanding universe. They call it a white hole because it is injecting rather than sucking up energy and matter like a black hole does.

I think Multiverse is one of the theories you can find more details in wikipedia.

But just to think about it, universe seems to be simple enough when we discover things, its the "phase of discovery" where we try to propose "complex theories".

Not to put you down but "macroverse" and "multiverse" seems complicated.

interesting theory

however, if I knew that, I could tell you whether or not god or the devil was real.
